We arrived in Breckenridge on Saturday, Jan. 17th - the weather is perfect - cold and clear! After we unpacked our bags, Mary & I headed to City Market - the local grocery store to stock up on some supplies for the week. We just happened to time our shopping trip about the same time that the skiers were all coming off the mountain... I just love the energy & the buzz of everyone shopping for the night - fresh off the hill! Mary has all her menus planned for the week and made beef stroganoff Saturday night - yummy!Sunday - we started the day slowly, lots of coffee and homemade coffee cake. If you have been to Breck then you know about the gondola.... it has fantastic views and takes you to the top of the Peak 8...if you are headed this way - take advantage of this great Breckenridge free ride!
