Well, I have to say that I have a love-hate relationship with Sundays. I love the ease and no makeup of course... but it is the day before Monday - what else needs to be said! Anyway, today was no different. Bret and I started the day our favorite way - enjoying coffee, reading the paper and watching the Today Show together on the couch. The kids are usually in and out - playing and watching cartoons... Since I was out of town last weekend, Bret dug my Halloween boxes out of storage and the kids & I got to decorating... I do love the holiday seasons and as soon as Halloween hits - well, it is practically Christmas! We had fun making ghosts and bats to hang from the trees and fence. It is fun to get the house all spruced up for trick or treating!
Later that afternoon, one of the neighborhood boys, Dylan, came over for a game of catch with Bret and Jackson... Em and I hung out on the front porch cheering the boys on! As I sit here blogging, I am mentally preparing for another busy week of work, junior league, baseball, birthday party prep, my mom's arrival, and a family cookout this weekend....well at least I can look forward to next Sunday :)!
