If you know me or have talked to me in say - the past several months - you know that the Junior League of Greater Winter Haven hosted a Merry Market the weekend of November 20th, featuring a Girls Night Out on Friday Night! Well, I am proud to announce that the event was a overwhelming success! We raised over $10,000 to benefit the projects of the JLGWH, raised community awareness and bonded as league members!
As a league, what more could ask for?!? The past couple of days are a blur but a happy content blur of girlfriends, good times and well, I have to be completely honest very sore feet! But I enjoyed every minute of my time at Nora Mayo Hall with some of the best women I know raising lots of $$ of help make Winter Haven a better community with our league projects... A special thanks to all the volunteers and vendors that contributed to the success of the JLGWH's Merry Market - See you next year!!
A special thanks to my dear sweet children that put up with at least a million & a half planning meetings and not seeing me for most of the weekend... and of course Bret, who came down to help set up on Friday-I think that he secretly loves the ladies of the league and hanging out with us!
