Jackson rocks 3rd Grade!!

Jackson had an amazing year in school... his 2nd grade teacher, Sandy Rudisill was able to "loop" with the class - so he also had her for 3rd grade... she is a fantastic teacher and Jackson really enjoyed being in her class. Jackson was an all A student for all of 2nd grade and only made one B for the entire 3rd grade!! But the most important thing is that he is an overall AWESOME kid! The 3rd grade is also the first year that students take the FACT and my amazing son... made a 4 on the reading & a 5 on the math!! We are so proud of him...

Elbert Elementary Open House

Tonight was Elbert Elementary's Open House and Book Fair, it was also the the debut performance of the second grade singing patriotic songs for all the parents. Jackson and his classmates sang everything from "America the Beautiful" to "She's a Grand Ole Flag." After the recital, we headed to Mrs. Rudisill's classroom to talk with Jackson's teacher and see his classroom and work. Of course, our sweet son is one of the top students in his class leading in both reading and math. We were so proud to hear this report from his teacher - whom we like very much. The the Morrs' headed to the library to purchase a few books from the book fair... big surprise Emily chose a Dora book, while Jackson selected Star Wars: Clone War and Football book about Tiki and Ronde Barber. We then went out for a family dinner to Jimmy T's - interesting place. Overall what a nice evening with the family....
