Well, we got a little bit of a late start decorating for the holidays this year but Bret & I finally finished up this weekend. We put up the tree, the garland, the lights and all the other holiday goodies to make the house feel festive and warm. I do love this time of year for so many reasons... I love the parties, the cheer and spirit of the season. I think one of my favorite things that we do every year is when we gather as a family to decorate the tree. There is something special about unwrapping each ornament and hanging them on the tree. Each ornament has a story and memory... some go back to my childhood, the "our first Christmas" ornament celebrating the year Bret & I met & of course all the wonderful ornaments marking the milestones of our beautiful - growing to quickly - children. 
Our eclectic tree is topped by an angel that our own sweet little angel, Emily, made herself last year... and it is her "big" job to place it on top the tree.
We look forward to the new memories that we make each holiday season and I am sure that this year will be no exception!
Even Kirby & Buddy like to get in on the holiday decorating fun!
